After the incident, which led to his death, his mother took to social media to demand justice.
In a statement signed by the school management on Sunday, the school stated that it commenced investigations immediately it was aware of the incident.
Consequently, three members of staff who were allegedly accused of complicity in Abdurahman’s death were remanded in prison after they were arraigned in court last Monday.
The staff school, which said it could no longer comment on the matter because it is now before a court, urged members of the public to pray for parents of the deceased.
“The International Staff School of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology wishes to commiserate with the family of Abdurahman Dauda, one of our pupils who was involved in an unfortunate incident that led to his untimely death,” the statement reads.
