Tinubu Pays Tribute To Late Elder Statesman Amadu Na-Funtua
President Tinubu mourns the death of elder statesman Amadu Na-Funtua, highlighting his contributions, while Vice President Shettima refutes claims that Tinubu is working against Northern Nigeria.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences following the death of elder statesman Alhaji Ahmadu Abdulkadir, also known as Amadu Na-Funtua.
The deceased was a respected leader, politician, and businessman.

In a statement released on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu mourned the passing of the elder statesman and extended his sympathies to the government and people of Katsina State.
He acknowledged the long-standing contributions of Na-Funtua to community building and development, which he said will be remembered for years to come. The President also prayed for Allah’s mercy on Na-Funtua’s soul and comfort for his family.
In other news, Vice President Kashim Shettima has refuted claims that President Bola Tinubu is working against Northern Nigeria. Addressing a Federal Government delegation led by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, during a condolence visit following the death of his mother-in-law, Shettima emphasized that Tinubu is committed to the growth of the Northern region.
Shettima pointed out that the President appointed two Ministers of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission from the North, demonstrating his concern for the region’s well-being.
