A public memorial for DMX, who died on April 9, has been announced
The family of late rapper DMX has revealed that the Brooklyn’s Barclays Center would be used as the venue to host a public memorial for DMX on Saturday, April 24.
The Hip Hop and rap Icon, whose real name Earl Simmons, popularly known for his rap stage name DMX died on Friday, April 9, at the age of 50, his death occurred in an hospital after days in coma, he went into coma after he suffered a drug overdose that triggered a heart attack on April 2.
DMX’s manager, Steve Rifkind revealed this information to the press, he stated that DMX would be honored by family and friends on April 24, with a private funeral service to take place the following day at a New York City-area church.
His manager also said that, Ticketing and COVID-19 logistics are still being worked on. The Brooklyn’s Barclays Center has a potential capacity of 19,000, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
