The Nigeria political enclave was thrown into a pensive mood this afternoon after the news filter through to the public that the Senator representing Lagos East senatorial district, Adebayo Osinowo, has passed away.
EkoHotBlog learnt that Oshiniwo was said to have been sick after contracting coronavirus in Lagos State.
The deceased, aged 64, was placed under isolation to prevent possible spread after contracting the virus.
Though details surrounding his death are still sketchy, there are reports making the rounds that the reclusive senator died at cardiologist consultant hospital, an upscale private medical outfit in Lagos.
Recall that the former chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari died at the hospital.
However, Findings done by EkoHotBlog discountenanced this reports. A source who is familiar with the situation told EkoHotBlog that the renowned Lagos politician died in landmark isolation centre in Lagos.
Landmark isolation centre is one of the many makeshift medical facilities put in place by the Lagos State government to cater to the medical needs of persons who test positive for the virulent COVID-19 infection.
