Sanchez revealed that she met Bezos while piloting helicopters and that their romance blossomed from there. She even helped him overcome a fear of flying after a helicopter crash in 2003, and now he’s getting his own pilot’s license.
However, their relationship, as described by Lauren Sanchez, is not just limited to their personal lives. Sanchez recently started her own production company, Adventure & Fellowship, which produces a lot of Blue Origin’s original videos and plans to start doing documentaries and scripted content as well, separate from any Bezos-related company. She even revealed that she will be one of the passengers in an all-female mission into space on one of Blue Origin’s rockets in 2024 and is super excited about it.
Sanchez also shared how Bezos has been a valuable business mentor, giving her pointers on how to handle meetings and manage effectively. She says, “Living with Jeff is like having a master class every day. What he’s really taught me a lot about is management.”
Bezos was previously married to Mackenzie Scott for nearly 25 years before their divorce became public knowledge after his relationship with Sanchez was revealed. But despite the controversy surrounding their relationship, Sanchez’s insights provide a refreshing and honest look into the personal and professional life of one of the world’s richest men.
