The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has provided details of the $22.7bn loan approval before the red chamber.
Lawan disclosed this on Monday at a media briefing, in Abuja.

He promised that the senate would take a critical look at the request and “ensure that every cent borrowed is tied to a project, properly, prudently and economically applied.”
It could be recalled that the 8th Senate under the leadership of Sen. Bukola Saraki had rejected the request of President Buhari to go ahead to secure the $22.7bn loan.
