Emmanuel confirmed that the family had been traveling back to Abuja when the accident occurred on January 4, 2025, at Akwanga, although it was only confirmed on January 5, 2025.
“The tragic deaths of Mr. Victor Angbiandoo Tyohemba, Mrs. Erdoo Stephanie Angbiandoo, Miss Agnes Ngohide Angbiandoo, and Miss Immaculate Sesughter Angbiandoo have left us devastated,” he said. “Their bodies were retrieved and buried at our family home in Igbor on January 6, 2025.”
Emmanuel shared the harrowing details of how he received the news while traveling to Zaria: “They left Makurdi for Abuja on Saturday, and I left for Zaria on Sunday.
We couldn’t reach them throughout Saturday. After multiple attempts to contact them, I found out that a bus heading to Abuja had been involved in an accident. I later confirmed the tragic news with the transport company manager and went to retrieve their bodies.”
He has called on sympathizers to remember the family in their prayers as they cope with the devastating loss.
