Lawyers Submits Petition Against DJ Switch And Falz (Read details)

- A Nigerian lawyer by the name Gbolahan Bakare earlier today submitted a petition for the arrest of Dj Switch, Falz and other prominent celebrities who used their platform to share information concerning the massacre that happened on the 20th of October 2020 at Lekki toll gate.
A group, Vendor for Positive Change Initiatives has petitioned the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry for Restitution for Victims of SARS and Related Abuses and Other Matters to invite Folarin Falana , Obianuju Catherine Udeh a.k.a Dj Switch to substantiate their Claims On Alleged Killing in Lekki .
In a Petition submitted by the leader of the group, Bakare Gbolahan dated October 26, said that there cannot be restitution without justice and fairness .
He requested that the panel he submitted the petition to, should invite each and everyone who spoke about the lekki massacre and lied about the number of protesters that were killed at the lekki toll gate.
Mr Gbolahan further tagged the information shared by Dj Switch and other celebrities as a false news in relation to the unsubstained killing of endsars protesters.
He further urged the panel to please pass justice and punish those who shared false news about the lekki massacre accordingly.
The group said,
” We therefore seek that your panel promotes fairness in this matter by extending invitation to all those who have made varrying degree of inciting claims regarding what transpired at Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020, including those who lay claim blank bullets were used to physically appear before the Panel to substantiate all they have said or claimed. “
