In a bid to avoid blockage and perennial flooding on the Island region of Lagos State, Lekki Concession Co (LCC) has engaged in the clearance of blocked drainage at Addo road in Ajah.
In other to ensure effective work done, Eko Hot Blog gathered that the special purpose organisation employed the use of heavy equipment to pull down structures restricting access to the drainage system along the road.
LCC Road Maintenance team said it was a high necessity to ensure that there is a free flow in the drainage systems in other to avoid blockage and perennial flooding.

The team assured residents of continued intensive efforts to clear drainage and fix the bad portion of roads in critical areas of Ajah.

Motorists, pedestrians, and residents around Addo Road while reacting to the development, expressed their gratitude to the organisation for making commuting easier, more importantly averting possible transmission of waterborne diseases that flooding can cause in such a busy area.
