Eko Hot Blog reports that Masha Allah Starlight School, a co-educational institution located in Ibadan is set for its fourth Inter-house sports competition.
The Biennial sport competition is slated for Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at Lead City University Stadium, Ibadan.
Four houses, namely, Blue house, Orange House, Green House and yellow house will slug it out for the top prize on the day.

Speaking of their expectations after the heat exercise, a parent, Mrs Afolabi who spoke with Ekohotblog reporter commended the school for investing in the overall development of its students.
“Education goes beyond the four walls of the classroom.” So it is good that these children are exposed to extracurricular activities that will help them develop their God given potential”
Another parent, Mrs Aishat Lawal charged students in each house to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship.
“It is a game and in every competition, the winner must emerge. This is the first inter-house sports competition since my children joined the school and I am really excited about it.”
The Spokesperson for the school’s 2024 Inter-house sports planning committee, Mr Kamil Abdulrasheed Adekunle appreciated parents for their support and cooperation despite the current economic situation.
Students Preparing For Parade Event
“As a committee, we have left no stone unturned in carrying everybody along and that’s evident in the level of participation.”
“We will like to thank our parents for their support and cooperation towards this competition.”
“This year’s competition promises to be even bigger than previous ones due to advancement in so many areas.” He said
Commenting on the level of preparation, the School Chief Custodian, Alhaji Lawal Abbas disclosed that preparation is in top gear to ensure yet another successful outing.
“We are working round the clock to ensure a hitch-free competition”
“School is not just about academics. Extracurricular activities such as sports are essential in the overall development of children.”
“That is why the school has made it a tradition to give opportunities to students to showcase their talents in various sporting activities”. He added.
Students Athletes Competing in High Jump Event During Heat
The fourth Inter-house sports competition of the school scheduled to start by 10:00 am tomorrow will feature events such as Relay race, Sack race, Funny race, three-legged race, Thug of war, filling the bottle amongst others.
