Nigerian music star, Sarah Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has expressed frustration over persistent cyberbullying and unwarranted criticism on social media. The Mavin Records-signed artiste took to her official X account on Monday to call out online trolls who, according to her, deliberately target her with negative comments.
“There’s nothing I can do nor say to people that intentionally want to bully and misunderstand me every time,” the ‘Commas’ singer lamented. “You’ve found a scapegoat abi? Focus on issues that actually matter and leave me tf alone.”

Meanwhile, in a separate development, Afrobeats heavyweight Davido has withdrawn from the upcoming 50 Cent Legacy Tour concert scheduled for July 3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The event also features American R&B legend Mary J. Blige.
In a statement posted on his Instagram stories on Saturday, Davido clarified that his withdrawal had nothing to do with poor ticket sales, noting that the show had received strong support from fans. He cited unresolved issues surrounding the event’s planning as the main reason for his exit.
“Despite strong fan support and impressive ticket sales, there have been major misalignments regarding the event’s execution,” he said. “Key elements needed to maintain the quality of my performance remain unaddressed. It’s a matter of principle and respect for my craft.”
