After weeks of discussions and unrelenting reports, Manchester United have finally agreed a deal with Leicester City for defender, Harry Maguire.
Reportedly as high as £85m, it means the England footballer has become the most-expensive ever in football.
According to Mail Online, The deal was finally reached following weeks of negotiations between both clubs and will see United will pay £80m upfront and a further £5m in add-ons.
The 26-year-old had already pulled out of Leicester’s final pre-season friendly against Atalanta on Friday and is expected to undergo his medical today, August 3.
The deal puts Maguire ahead of Virgil van Dijk signed by Liverpool for £75m from Southampton in January 2018.
