Emerging reports suggest that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi has allegedly resigned.
Nigerians on Wednesday, took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to reveal that the presidential aide resigned in the heat of the shooting of peaceful End SARS protesters which took place in Lekki, Lagos state last Tuesday.
Although, unconfirmed, Ogunlesi is said to have handed in his resignation letter on October 20, 2020, the day of the unfortunate shooting and killing of the protesters at the Lekki toll gate.
A check on his Twitter handle, showed the last time he was active, or tweeted/retweeted any post was on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
