The Lekki toll gate shooting has been generating a lot of reactions since the day it happened. On the 20th day of October 2020 would be one that the people of Lagos cannot forget.

Many have been making different accusations, allegations and name callings, some have said that the soldiers were not Nigerian soldiers, others said at the soldiers are Nigerians and they were just following orders from above.

After all what some people have said, that there was no killing and all that, one of the victims of the shooting has come out to give testimony of how he survived the shoot out. He narrated how soldiers came in and started shooting at the crowd.

When he was trying to explain, the man he was narrating to, tried to calm him down saying we know it was the soldiers, this was because the victim kept saying the soldiers came, it was the soldiers.

He said that the bullet was still in his chest and that he was waiting in the hospital for an x-ray to be done so that bullet would be located, he was narrating also that he was rejected by different hospitals in the state and was luckily accepted by the one he is currently in.

He also expressed his gratitude to God who have given the people the strength to carry him about, he added that the hospital staffs did not even know his name but they have been treating him without paying a dime.

With tears in his eyes, he explained as the man beside him gave him tissue to wipe his tears.
