EKO HOT BLOG reports that Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has urged the President Bola Ahmad-led administration to release the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
This online media platform understands that the veteran actress who has never hidden her support for the secessionist group, made the appeal via her Instagram page, following the growing unrest in the South East region of the country.

Speaking about the unrest that is bedeviling the Southrest, the 55-year-old actress shared a video of various supporters of the IPOB leader calling for his release.
According to the thespian, the unrest in the Southeast region of the country becomes a history once Nnamdi Kanu is released. She further rained curses on the ‘elites’ involved in the continued detainment of the IPOB leader.
In her own words, “RELEASE MAZI NNAMDI OKWU KANU TODAY AND SEE THE UNREST IN THE SOUTH EAST BECOME A HISTORY.
“STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIFE ESPECIALLY ALL YOU ELITES.
“THAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE OVERSEAS AND YOU ARE USING OTHER PEOPLE’S CHILDREN TO CREAT UNREST.
“IF YOU ARE ONE OF THEM YOUR GENERATION AND GENERATION TO COME WILL NEVER NO PEACE.”
