Two persons have been shot at Egume Police Station Polling Unit, Dekina LGA.
Ekohotblog garnered that violence has broken out in at least four polling centres in Lokoja, the state capital.
– INEC official abducted in Lokoja
An unidentified official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been abducted in SUBEB polling unit in Lokoja.
The abduction occured after gunmen shot sporadically into the air while voting was ongoing.
Our Correspondent reported that voters scampered for safety before the gunmen went away with the official.
Meanwhile, voting has ended at Bishop Crowther LGEA Primary School Lokoja.
Sorting of votes and counting of ballots have commenced.
– Hoodlums shoot, snatch ballot box in Anyigba
Political thugs have invaded some polling units and snatched away ballot boxes in Anyigba in Dekina local government area of Kogi State
Anyingba, believed to be a volatile area, it was observed has the highest level of security presence in the entire local government.
According to a source in the area thugs arrived the polling units in cars shooting sporadically, scaring voters and making away with the ballot boxes.

Some of the polling units in Kabba Bunu have concluded voting and awaiting the official closing time of 2.00 pm before the commencement of vote counting.
Aside from the incident in Ayetoro Gbede, The election has been generally peaceful in most areas of Kogi West, especially in Kabba Bunu and Ijumu local government areas.
– Kogi youths attack Journalists
Youths of Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu attacked a group of Journalists at Dino’s polling unit and broke the windscreen of a sienna space bus they were travelling with.
The youths also made burn fire and blocked the roads with heavy stones and sticks.
As at the time of filing in this report, many of the youths were seen gathered discussing the development, while a team of policemen were seen heading to the town.

He voted at his Agasa, Okene LG polling unit, along side his wife at exactly 8.50am.
