Lockdown: Journalists, Health Workers Went Through Hell In Lagos

Nigeria police officers in Lagos State locked down all checkpoints yesterday, 19, of May 2020, shut off ambulances, health workers, journalists, and other members of the public.

The reported information we had was that the instruction was from the Inspector General of Police, (IGP), Muhammed Adamu, who was in Lagos to hold a meeting with some stakeholders.

However, Mr. Azubike Osumili, a journalist from inspiration FM, said, while analyzing national issues on the PaperView program this morning, 19, of May 2020, that the Inspector General had discredited the information that he orders the boys to barricade the checkpoints.

Head of the quality control programs, Silverbird Television, Victoria Island, Mr. David Ikpabi, later sent some shots of photographs taking while the locked-down process was on.

Most people, especially people living on Island reached home late yesterday due to the total lockdown.
