Lookman enjoyed a remarkable 2024, playing a pivotal role in Atalanta’s runs to the Coppa Italia and Europa League finals.

While they narrowly lost 1-0 to Juventus in the Coppa Italia final, Lookman led the team to redemption with a stunning hat-trick in the Europa League final, securing a 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen.

He was also the only African player nominated for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, finishing 14th in the rankings, and capped off the year by winning the CAF Player of the Year award, becoming the sixth Nigerian to claim the prestigious honour.
