Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the prestigious Serie A Forward of the Year award at the Gran Gala del Calcio.
Lookman faces competition from Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, as well as AC Milan’s Rafael Leao for the coveted title.

In addition to Lookman’s individual recognition, Atalanta has also been nominated for Club of the Year, while manager Gian Piero Gasperini is in the running for Coach of the Year.
The Nigeria international is celebrated for his outstanding performances with La Dea over the past two seasons. Last term, Lookman scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions. This season, he has already contributed eight goals and five assists in just 14 appearances.
Lookman, who finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings, is also the favourite to win the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
The Gran Gala del Calcio is an annual event honouring the best of Italian football, with awards decided by votes from members of the Italian Players’ Association (AIC). Winners will be revealed at the ceremony on December 2.
