Atalanta delivered a stunning 3-0 blow to Serie A leaders Napoli on Sunday, with Ademola Lookman scoring twice to secure the win.

Napoli, aiming to extend their lead to seven points over Inter Milan, saw their hopes dashed as Atalanta snapped their unbeaten streak at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium—a record that had held since August 18.

Lookman opened the scoring in the 10th minute, capitalizing on Marten de Roon’s header to slot the ball past Napoli’s keeper Alex Meret from close range.

He doubled the lead just after the 30-minute mark with a brilliant curling strike, taking advantage of space allowed by Napoli’s defence—a lapse that left coach Antonio Conte visibly frustrated.

Napoli struggled to create chances, with the best opportunity falling to former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, who hit the post.
