Lotto Magnate, Adebutu Kessington ‘Baba Ijebu’, Loses Wife

Rosemary Adebutu, the wife of Chief Kessington Adebutu, the Chairman of Premier Lotto, better known as Baba Ijebu, has passed away.

Ekohotblog gathered that the deceased, who was of sound health and not known to have pre-existing ailments, suddenly began to show malaria-like symptoms this weekend.

Her health condition worsened on Saturday and was subsequently rushed to Nicholas Hospital, Lagos where she gave up the ghost.

Sources attributed her death to COVID-19.

The deceased was the mother of Temitope Adebutu who got married to former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s son, Juwon.

Temitope and Juwon, however, parted ways barely a year after their conjugal bliss following tumultuous period of matrimony that was mired in controversy.
