Eko Hot Blog reports that Laide Bakare, the accomplished actress, producer, and director, has opened up about the challenges she faces in her personal life, particularly when it comes to finding true love.
In an interview with FAITH AJAYI, Bakare revealed that as an actress, one of her primary challenges has been “navigating relationships and finding true love.” She explained, “Sometimes, people are attracted to my status and my profession, rather than the essence of who I am. Distinguishing genuine connections from those based on fame is often a delicate task.”
Despite these challenges, Bakare has found ways to overcome the obstacles, stating, “I employ patience to eliminate toxicity from my life.”
Bakare’s journey into the entertainment industry was not a straight path. After studying Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan, she went on to pursue studies in History and Strategic Studies at the University of Lagos. This diverse educational background, she says, “enriched my perspective and skills.”
The actress, who is also a real estate developer, has managed to balance her responsibilities as a mother of three, an entertainer, and a businesswoman. “Fulfilling my responsibilities as a mother of three in this challenging economy is not easy, but I am grateful, and I give all glory to God. His grace sustains me through the trials, and I appreciate the strength He has given me to navigate the demands of parenting in these circumstances, finding solace and gratitude in His divine support,” she shared.
As Bakare continues to thrive in the entertainment industry, she remains focused on elevating the quality and scale of her projects, with the goal of contributing to productions that “transcend expectations, delivering a cinematic experience that resonates with audiences.”
