King Saheed Ademola Elegushi has sent palliative care and words of encouragement to the Muslim community of Ilasan Jakande Housing Estate for their being upright in the month of Ramadan, despite the presence of coronavirus pandemic.
He said he believed that this period of economic and medical challenges has a limited period of time, adding that one could only prevail over the challenges if one is consistent in what one has belief in.

He reminded the Muslim representatives to use the month of Ramadan to pray for the eradication of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He moved further to say that they should love one another and live a life of peaceful coexistence with other religious faithful within the neighborhood.
“It is when we live in peace that we would be able to tackle any irregularities that persist in our dear nation, Nigeria,” he said.
The Balogun Adinni of Eti Osa and Baba Adinni of Ikate Land, Alhaji Amidu Akanni Elegushi, said people of the Elegushi Royal Family has been known as peacemakers right from the late King Adeniyi Yekinni Elegushi up to the moment. He added that Kabiyesi had spoken well by urging the Muslims to love one another and live a peaceful coexistence anywhere they find themselves.
“I wish Nigerians a quick breakthrough in this period of economic and social hardship,” he said.
