Love, Out From A Storm — Yvonne Awanga On Owning Up To Her Feelings

EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Big Brother Titans housemate Yvonne Godswill Awanga has opened up about her relationship with her South African co-contestant, Juicy Jay.

Speaking on the TVC programme e-Slapsh, Yvonne said that while she wasn’t initially interested in a relationship during her time in the Big Brother House, Juicy Jay’s persistence eventually won her over.

According to Yvonne, Juicy Jay was “very selfless” and his persistence eventually led her to reconsider her decision. “I didn’t go there for that [relationship],” she said. “But it happened and I owned up to my emotions. Also, I just let it happen.”

Yvonne went on to say that she was “blown away” when Juicy Jay surprised her with flowers after she left the Big Brother House.

She said she wasn’t expecting to see him because she had asked about him and was told he couldn’t make it.

Despite their relationship, Yvonne said there is no pressure and that they are both focused on their respective careers.

“We are good. No pressure for real. You know he’s just working on his [Ruby] career. He’s planning on getting back into the field. Yeah, we are very good,” she said.
