LSCPWB Hosts Dynamic One-Day Seminar for Ops Team
Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) recently organized a one-day seminar to equip its operations staff for an upcoming pilgrimage to the Holy Lands.
The event took place at the Chapel of Christ the Light in Alausa, Ikeja, and focused on preparing participants for their responsibilities in ensuring a smooth pilgrimage.
Addressing the attendees, the Board Secretary, Mrs. Florence Yetunde Gbafe, emphasized that the staff, carefully chosen from medical, media, administrative, and clerical backgrounds, will be responsible for the physical and spiritual well-being of the pilgrims.
She encouraged them to view their role as a way to express gratitude to the Lagos State Government for its ongoing support, urging them to provide excellent service to the pilgrims.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Adewunmi Gbolahan Ogunsanya, called on the operations team to represent Lagos State with dignity.
“We must comport ourselves in the best way possible so that at the end of the exercise, we will have a great memory of our activities during this year’s pilgrimage,” he said.
