Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) has intensified its preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for a seamless experience.
The board has begun distributing welfare materials to intending pilgrims, aiming to foster comfort and unity throughout the spiritual journey.
In a statement, Mrs Yetunde Gbafe, the Board Secretary, highlighted the importance of the initiative: “We want to ensure that our pilgrims feel a sense of belonging and uniformity during this spiritual exercise.
The welfare materials are carefully selected to provide comfort and identity for our pilgrims, distinguishing them from others.”

The welfare packages include travelling boxes, clothing, stationery, and cold-weather accessories.
Additionally, the LSCPWB is organizing a one-day seminar to train operational staff, equipping them with the skills needed to support the pilgrims during their travels.
As the departure date nears, the board is finalizing all logistics. A Service of Dedication will also be held to offer prayers for the pilgrims and staff, with a specific date to be announced shortly.
With a strong emphasis on spiritual growth and the well-being of the pilgrims, the LSCPWB is committed to making the 2024 pilgrimage a meaningful and memorable experience.
