EKO HOT BLOG reports that Aston Villa have concluded the transfer of French defender, Luca Digne from Everton for a sum of £25m. The club announced this on their official website on Wednesday.
Aston Villa, who signed Brazilian playmaker, Phillipe Coutinho on loan just last week, have been very busy in the transfer window, searching for players to add quality to their team.

Digne, who had Napoli, Newcastle, Chelsea and West Ham also interested in him, will undergo a medical later on Wednesday.
The transfer of Lucas Digne may not have come as a surprise to many people, as he had earlier told his former club, Everton, that he wished to depart the club for greener pastures.
Digne had been out of the Everton side after a much-publicized falling out with Benitez over tactics and addressing the matter last week, their manager confirmed that the defender had told the club he wants to leave.
“He’s been very clear,” Benitez said. “I want to ask a question to every fan and former players – what Peter Reid would do if a player comes out and says he doesn’t want to be there?
“That’s it – simple. I’ve had a couple of conversations with him and he told me what he thought so what do you expect the manager to do when a player is thinking of leaving?”
