Luxury Bus Operators Begin 50% Fare Discount for Long-Distance Travel
Luxury bus owners have started implementing a 50% discount on fares for long-distance routes nationwide. Key highlights of this initiative include:
ALBON expressed their appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for approving the rebate, stating that it would help reduce the strain on Nigerians dealing with rising travel costs. In a statement, the association urged travelers to visit public motor parks and terminals to benefit from the half-price fares.
The statement, jointly signed by ALBON President Nonso Ubajaka and Secretary Frank Nneji, announced that the discounted fares would be in effect from December 24, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Travelers on both northern and southern routes can take advantage of this offer.
