LWC MD Mukhtaar Tijani Honours, Presents Certificates Of Service To Retirees

Eko Hot Blog reports that Lagos Water Corporation (LWC), on Wednesday, bubbled with lots of excitements as the corporation celebrated the send forth of ten staff members who retired between January and April, 2024.

The LWC disclosed the development in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The corporation noted that the retirees had worked diligently and contributed immensely towards water service delivery in the Lagos State.

“The atmosphere was charged with songs as Management Staff and Staff present trooped to dance floor to glorify God Almighty for sparing their lives to witness the memorable event,” the statement reads in part.

In his brief goodwill speech, the Chief host, LWC Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani, appreciated the contributions of the ten retirees to the survival of the corporation.

“This event is to appreciate our retirees who have served the Corporation diligently and meritoriously while in active Service, as we are here today to recognise and appreciate their efforts while still alive,” Tijani said.

While describing the retirees as dedicated, amazing, committed and hardworking staff, the LWC boss added that “honouring your long years of tireless service to our team, and celebrating the legacy of your hard work and dedication is unquantifiable, as it is not only made a huge difference, but also touched a lot of lives along the way, which are Unforgettable.

“So, I am proud of you and your remarkable achievements in your respective careers, as you are all true professionals by example, demonstrating that excellence is something to aim for everyday.”

*Wishing you all, good times, good health and the best in your future endeavours.”

Engr. Tijani presented Certificates of Service to the retirees in recognition of their meritorious service and hardwork.

In her remarks, the Executive Director, Operations, LWC, Engr. (Mrs.) Helen Omolanke Taiwo stated that, “Today is your day of happiness, as the Lord has made for you. You are rejoicing, Heaven is also rejoicing with you.”

She further prayed that, “Your joy will have no bound, and will have no end”. All what you have labour for will not go in vain.”

“Your health will not fail you and shall be well with you,” she concluded.
