As the investigation of suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission garners momentum and more revelations laid bare, about twelve (12) Directors and highly placed staff of the Commission have been asked to embark on immediate suspension.
The notice of suspension was made known to the Interim Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Umar, on Tuesday night by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami.

The action was taken in line with the current probe of the suspended Acting Chairman of the Agency, Mr. Ibrahim Magu.
There is, however, serious confusion and tension in the commission at the moment, with some of the affected staff claiming to have no direct link with the controversial activities in the administration of the suspended EFCC Boss.
