Makinde Re-appoints Olayanju As Amotekun Commandant
Eko Hot Blog reports that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the reappointment of Colonel Bisiriyu Olayinka Olayanju (retired) as Oyo State Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network, also known as Amotekun.
The governor made the announcement on Friday.
DAILY POST reports that Makinde has also approved the reapportionment of Ms Tara Adefope as the Director General of the Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement.
The governor also appointed Engineer Mufutau Open Salawu as Executive Assistant, Project Monitoring.
The appointments were contained in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi.
According to Daily Post, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju announced that the appointments are with immediate effect in a statement made available to journalists on Friday.
The governor in the statement, congratulated the new appointees and urged them to see their appointments as a call to service.
