Makinde Seeks PDP Members’ Reconciliation
-
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has called on all aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to embrace reconciliation.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that he said he decided to again make the call on the aggrieved members, drawing from a message delivered by the Presiding Pastor, Living Spring Chapel International, Pastor Femi Emmanuel, at the 2021 Christmas Carol Service and Nine Lessons organised by the state government yesterday.
The governor, who read the ninth lesson, thanked the people for their support to his government.
He called on them to intensify their prayers for the state and the country.

The governor said the prayers are necessary in the coming 2022 because the year is the time when parties will select candidates to contest the 2023 general election.
He urged those willing to participate in politics to embrace parties by joining them so that they will be able to contribute their quota.
Pastor Emmanuel said one of the reasons why Jesus Christ “was born was to reconcile us.”
He enjoined Nigerians not to lose hope in the face of challenges facing the country.
Some of the dignitaries at the service included the governor’s wife, Tamunominini, former MILAD Oladayo Popoola, House of Assembly Speaker Debo Ogundoyin, Chief Judge Munta Abimbola, ex-Speaker Monsurat Sunmonu, state lawmakers, top judicial officers, the President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Supo Ayokunle, the President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, among others.
