Makinde Set To Build N1.2bn Gov’s Lodge In Abuja
- Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has approved N1.2 billion for the construction of a new lodge in Abuja for incumbent and successive governors.
- The state Commissioner of Public Works and Infrastructure, Daud Sangodoyin, who made the disclosure, said the council approved N1.2 billion to construct a new governor’s lodge at No 2. John Kadiya Close, Asokoro, Abuja.
Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has approved N1.2 billion for the construction of a new lodge in Abuja for incumbent and successive governors.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the building project was also approved by the Oyo State Government’s Executive Council.
The state Commissioner of Public Works and Infrastructure, Daud Sangodoyin, who made the disclosure, said the council approved N1.2 billion to construct a new governor’s lodge at No 2. John Kadiya Close, Asokoro, Abuja.

The commissioner further disclosed that the new lodge would provide apartments for governor, deputy governor, chalets, fittings, and furniture, “which would be of modern type.”
Sangodoyin added that the Oyo State Government would complete the building project in six months.
According to SaharaReporters, the commissioner explained that the old lodge was no longer fit for the governor’s use.
