EKO HOT BLOG reports that a 24-year-old man, Lot Bitrus, has been arrested in connection to the attack on the convoy of the First Lady of Adamawa State, Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The attack, which is believed to be politically motivated, took place in Muchalla, Mubi Local Government Area on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
According to the Police Spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Bitrus was arrested in his hideout located in Muchalla Village, Mubi North LGA, on the 5th of February, 2023. He was found in a remote site of the village and was taken into custody for investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, SK Akande, has ordered a discreet investigation of the suspect with the aim of gathering both human and material evidence for prosecution. The police are now working hard to piece together the events that led to the attack on the First Lady’s convoy and to bring those responsible to justice.

With the arrest of Bitrus, the police hope to get closer to solving the case and bringing a sense of security back to the people of Adamawa State.
