Man Brags About Beating Wife, Promises To Do It Again Once She Regains Consciousness

A Nigerian man identified as Egwu Francis Emmanuel, who allegedly beat his wife, Mrs. Ezinne, into a coma in Amachara Village in Ebonyi state, brags about beating her again after she recovers.

It is gathered that the victim, despite in critically lifeless conditions at Medical Center Afikpo, Francis has noted that he will still beat her as soon as she is out of the medical facility.

According to an eye witness, this is not the first time Francis, a renowned cultist, is beating his wife, but for fear of not getting into Francis’s wrong side, the neighbours could not report.

The eyewitness said, “This is a repeated occurrence in the neighbourhood.” For fears of being killed by the culprit, they couldn’t report to the police because he is allegedly known for cult-related activities.

“Even the wife is afraid to run away from the marriage as she is fearful of what may be her fate. As I’m talking to you now, she is lying in a coma in Medical Center Afikpo.

“And the husband is still bragging outside of the hospital to pounce on her immediately she regains consciousness. If I see who can have the courage to report this young man to the police, I would be most grateful.

“He does all these because his immediate elder brother is a Barrister, and he brags that nothing can happen to him. I am appealing to well-meaning Nigerians, especially organizations who fight domestic violence, to come to her rescue”, the witness added.

The couple has been married since 2015 and has two kids.
