Man Brutalizes Wife In Anambra, Plans To Kill Her

A man has been accused of attempting to kill his wife and stepdaughters in Anambra after he allegedly inflict serious bodily harm on them.

The man, identified as Iwuchukwu Anajemba Samson, from Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area of the state reportedly assaulted, maimed, and attempted killing his wife alongside his step daughters.

The incident happened at Alex Anajemba Street Akabo Village in Mbaukwu.

According to a witness, the man has been consistently battering the wife and step children.

It was further gathered that the man has on one occasion poured fuel on one of her step daughter and ignited it with a match stick.

Speaking with IGBERE TV correspondent in Anambra, a resident of the area said that series of attempts to call the man to order by his immediate family and that of his wife have proven abortive, as the hot tempered and ever furious man is known for violence.

While the woman and her kids have been rushed to the hospital, we call on government agencies, human right activist and the Police to intervene on the ugly incident to avoid further incarceration by the parties involved.
