Man Brutally Axed To Death By Cultists In Benue
A man identified as Msugh Kugwa was in the late hours of Thursday, May 7, viciously attacked by unknown persons who axed him on the head killing him almost immediately.
Kugwa who is an indigene of Mbaakune community in vandeikya local government area of Benue state was murdered at about 11 pm, when he returned to his house to sleep.

According to reports, the deceased lived alone in a small home surrounded by his orange farm and the forest.
People who reside in the area revealed that the man, who doesn’t keep friends has, for a long time now, been talking of people wanting to take his life but never named anyone who would want to kill him until his death.
It was also learnt that the night he was killed, Kugwa ate at his younger brother’s place before riding home, where he met his untimely death.
There is no trace of the culprit(s), and the whole community is in shock.
However, the police has begun investigations and the remains of the deceased, deposited at a morgue.
