Man Climbs 200ft Mast To Commit Suicide, Asks Passers-By To Sing Praise, Worship (Video)
- There was a mild drama as a young man climbs 200ft mast to commit suicide and asked passers-by to sing praise and worship.
Ekohotblog reports that officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have convinced a young man identified Daniel Chibuike to come down from a 200 feet mast unhurt.
In a viral video, the young man was said to have climbed the mast located at Nasfat Centre by Go Yee Church, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos on Wednesday in an attempt to commit suicide.
This online media reports that the man asked passers-by to sing praise and worship while he was climbing the 200ft mast.

Officials of NEMA however swing into action to prevent him from committing suicide.
The acting coordinator of NEMA, southwest, Ibrahim Farinloye in a statement shared with Legit.ng said the man was convinced to come down from the mast unhurt.
Farinloye said the young man who is an aluminium technician works in the Aluminium Village and lives in Dopemu area of Lagos state.
He has since been taken to the Gowon Estate Police Station, Lagos for an interactive discussion with officials of NEMA, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and the Police.
According to the NEMA official, from the discussions so far, the man appears to be incoherent and could not make a complete statement all through. He added that the technician could not remember his age until some people were consulted.
