Man Dies Of Heat After Eating Forty-Two Eggs

Police has revealed that a 42-year-old man identified as Subhash Yada has died after attempting to eat 50 eggs to settle a bet with a friend.

Subhash Yada had just begun eating his 42nd egg when he collapsed and fell unconscious.

Yada was rushed to hospital but died just hours later. Mr Yada is believed to have died due to overeating, doctors said.

According to reports, Yada and a friend were visiting the Bibiganj market area in Uttar Pradesh, India, when they began arguing.

To settle the disagreement, they agreed on a Rs2,000 (N 10,300) bet that each could be the first to eat 50 eggs in one sitting.
