Man Narrates How SARS Officers Allegedly “Kidnapped” Him On His Birthday, Extorted 298,000 Naira From Him

Man cries for justice as he narrated how SARS officers allegedly “kidnapped” him on his birthday and extorted from him a sum of 298,000 Naira.
The man identified as Gilbert took to his Twitter account to narrate how the Nigerian Police Force’s operatives accosted him, arrested, and Kidnapped him to an unknown location.
Gilbert said he is a forex trader who is new in Lagos. In an attempt to mark his birthday, he encountered the policemen on his way to Victoria Island.

According to the young man, he was forced into a minivan and taken to an unknown location despite explaining himself and what he does for a living.
Gilbert said the police threatened to take his life, pointing guns at him as they asked him to pay a sum of Two million Naira for his ransom.
However, after all, they agreed to collect 300,000 Naira, and since he couldn’t withdraw the entire amount from his bank, he withdrew 298,000 Naira and gave it to them.
He shared a photo of one of the alleged officers involved and screenshots of the transfer he made as proof.
He then tagged activists as he asked them to help him get justice.
