Man Rapes 90-Year-Old Woman In Yobe
- Mohammed Faruk has been arrested for allegedly raping a nonagenarian woman.

One Mohammed Faruk has been taken into police custody in Yobe State for allegedly raping a nonagenarian woman.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the incident happened in Gadaka town where both suspect and victim live.
In a statement on Tuesday, the police spokesman Dungus Abdulkarim said the suspect confessed to the act, adding that medical reports also indicated penetration and some samples of the suspect’s semen.
The police command vowed to end what they described as “barbaric attacks on minors and even adults”.
The statement reads: “On 8/2/2021 about 1400hrs police in Fika Divisional police Headquarters apprehended one Mohammed Faruk of Gadaka town, 35, who intruded into a 90-year-old woman’s room in the same area of Gadaka, thereby molesting, assaulting and raping her.

“On preliminary investigation, the culprits confessed to the commission of the said alleged rape. A medical examination confirmed penetration and identified drips of semen.
“The case is currently under investigation. Given the recent rape cases, the Command is committed to bringing an end to these brutal attacks on minors and even old age victims.
“To this end, the Commission of Police Appreciated the cooperation of the good people of Yobe State and solicited for more,”.
