Man Remanded For Defiling Neighbour’s Daughter
A 45- year-old labourer, Chigozie Akwudiba, has been remanded in Kirikiri prison who allegedly defiled his neighbour’s daughter.
According to the prosecutor, Insp. Christopher John, the defendant committed the offence on at his 26, Ariori St., Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos residence.

NAN reports that the police charged Akwudiba with defilement, an offence that contravened the provisions of Sections 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State,2015(Revised).
Chief Magistrate P.E. Nwaka who refused to take the plea of Akwudiba, ordered the police to return the case file to the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.
