Man Stabs Wife’s Chest With Ceramic Plate For Receiving Money At Naming Ceremony

One Mr Toheeb Badmus aka Tomori is currently on the run after allegedly stabbing the mother of his child multiple times with a ceramic plate.

Mr Toheeb is married to Tosin (the victim) and they recently welcomed a new born child together.

Narrating the incident on 22nd of May, the victim’s sister disclosed that the incident happened at Jankara axis in Ijaiye, Alagbado.

According to her version of the story, the victim recently gave birth recently. Trouble started when Tosin came home one night and informed her husband that two of her male friends who couldn’t attend the child’s naming ceremony gave the baby money gifts. In response to her news, Toheeb accused her of obtaining money from ritualists to which Tosin tried to explain how the money gift came about.

Toheeb and his wife had a slight argument over the issue and she decided to leave home for 2 days. She however returned on the third day and her return was met with a more serious argument which eventually detoirated into physical violence.

In the course of their argument, Toheeb broke a ceramic plate which he used in stabbing his wife multiple times on her stomach, hand and chest area. Tosin was however rushed to Almadiyah hospital where she was stitched and had to be given blood transfusion.

Mr Toheeb has however escaped to Ikorodu area of Lagos state to hide from the law.
