One of the top areas Manchester United must strengthen is getting a world-class striker. While Edinson Cavani looks set to depart, with the future of Anthony Martial, currently on loan at Sevilla, is up in the air as well. And who knows what will happen with Marcus Rashford, who has struggled for playing time as well.
Also, there are question marks about Cristiano Ronaldo as well. On one hand, he no longer looks like the player that he once was. On the other hand, would he remain at Manchester United if they fail to qualify for the Champions League?
Manchester United handset their attention primarily on Victor Osimhen. Thus, it looks like the Red Devils are leading the pack interested in the striker’s signature.
Osimhen is one of the most exciting young strikers in the world right now. He has been absolutely superb for Napoli this season and is one of the biggest reasons why they are still in the running for the Scudetto.
He is very highly rated though and it would take a transfer fee around €100 million to sign him from Napoli.
The Italian club have proven to be determined negotiators over the years. Thus, it is safe to say that it will not be easy for Manchester United to sign Osimhen.
