Cavani Slammed With Three-Match Ban Over Racist Instagram Post
Manchester United and Uruguay Striker, Edinson Cavani will miss the next three Manchester United’s matches after agreeing to the ban for his «negrito» comment on Instagram.
The Uruguayan striker also copped a whopping £100,000 fine, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
The FA inquired about the comment made to a fan after his late match-winning double at Southampton on November 29.
On December 17, Cavani was formally charged with “gross breach” due to his comment was considered to have “included the reference, whether explicit or implicit, to color and/or race and/or ethnic origin”.

The attacker, who quickly removed his comments after United were warned, had the support of the club in his insistence that there was no racial intent reference and simply a regular South American linguistic nuance.
Despite the player’s initial Defense by United, Cavani accepted the accusation in a hearing this week.
The Uruguayan striker could have waited till Monday before the trial, that would have given him a chance to play Aston Villa on Friday.
Cavani will now miss the Villa game as well as the Carabao Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Wednesday and next week’s FA Cup third-round clash with Watford.
The former Napoli and PSG striker also accepted to complete a mandatory training course to avoid recurrence.
