Man Declared Wanted By Policeman For Raping A Minor In Epe

A minor (name withheld) has been raped by a 21-year-old man, named Ahmed Olaiya, in the Shade area of Epe, Lagos State.

The culprit was said to have sent the Innocent girl on an errand to buy Hollandia Milk for him. On getting to the man’s house to deliver the item, the man drag the young girl on the bed, closed her mouth, and forcefully pierce into the minor.

The girl, a Pry 4 students of St. Micheal Primary School, Popo oba, Epe, has been treated in Epe General Hospital and discharged.

However, some concerned indigenes of Epe has called for Justice for the culprit to be brought to book and face the full wrath of the law.

Earlier, Epe Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Tokosi Adekunle has declared Ahmed, the offender wanted for rape.

The DPO confirmed the incident and said that the parent of the culprit is in the police custody.

According to the DPO, the mother was arrested for obstruction of her son arrest by policemen.

“The mother will be charged to court for obstruction and refusing arrest of her son.

“The boy is on the run and has been declared wanted by the policemen.

“Anybody that knows the whereabout of the criminal should notify the policemen in the station, ” he said.
