Man Who Trekked From Katsina To Kano Gets Estranged

 

A 31 year old man, Comrade Aminu Aliyu Tanko popularly known as AAT who trekked for 175 Kilometers from Katsina to meet former Kano state governor and former Senator Kano Central, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has reached Kano.

Comrade AAT, an indigene of Katsina state said that he embarked on his journey on Tuesday 4th February 2020, arrived Kano on Saturday 8th February around 4:50p.m.

The young comrade said that he visited state to comfort Senator Kwankwaso, PDP governorship candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf and the citizens of Kano over the Supreme Court verdict against Kano PDP, Prime Time News reports.

However, it was learnt that the young trekker was not welcomed by the members of he Kwankwasiyya faction as he took himself from Rijiyar Lemo an area in Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano state to Abba Gida-Gida’s office at Nasarawa Kano Government Reserved Area with only a friend and newsman.

Arrived at the Abba Gida-Gida’s office energyless, a member of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Ahmad Aminu Yusuf, also known as Balarabe, told Comrade Aminu AAT that he has arrived at a time when all Kwankwasiyya officials were not in Kano, as they have all traveled to Abuja for an official engagement.

“We thank God that you’re here finally, although we were not informed of your journey until today. But we’re happy you have eaten before you came here.” Balarabe said.

Recall that one on 4h February 2020, Governor Ganduje warmly received one Comrade Nura Ali Batsari who trekked for also from Katsina State to congratulate him over his victory at the supreme court.

Sources revealed that Comrade Nura had received a gift of N500,000 among other bounties from the government of Kano state.
