The win saw City progress to the quarter-finals of the competition with an 8-1 aggregate.

Pep Guardiola singled out Napoli for praise, stating that they are “maybe the best team in Europe this year, in terms of playing style… close to Arsenal.”
Napoli, who are currently top of the Serie A table, have been in impressive form this season, winning 18 of their 27 league matches so far. They have also been impressive in the Europa League, progressing to the last 16 of the competition.
Guardiola’s comments come ahead of the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, which is scheduled to take place on Friday. City will be hoping to continue their impressive run in the competition, having reached the final last season.
The City boss also expressed his desire for his team to compete for a treble this season, with the team still in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and five points behind Arsenal in the Premier League. Guardiola’s side faces Everton in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, before they travel to Arsenal for a crucial Premier League clash on Sunday.
