EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester City Football Club has made enquiries about the availability of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports. The Premier League giants have reportedly identified Osimhen as a potential target in the event that their pursuit of Erling Haaland falls through.
Haaland, who currently plays for Manchester City, has been heavily linked with a move away from the club with Real Madrid supposedly interested in him.
In the event that Manchester City are unable to keep Haaland at the club, they are reportedly considering a move for Osimhen, who has established himself as one of the best strikers in the game. The news comes courtesy of Sky Sports Germany.
Osimhen currently plays for Italian club Napoli, where he has scored 19 goals in 22 league appearances this season. The 23-year-old has also attracted interest from other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United.
It remains to be seen whether Napoli will be willing to part with Osimhen, who only joined the club last year. However, Manchester City are said to be keeping a close eye on the situation, and could make a move for the Nigerian striker if they are unable to sign Haaland or other targets.
