Manchester United came to Anfield to continue their run of good form but were met with a shocker that history will forever tell.
It was a 7-0 score-line that had 3 forwards netting a brace each, with Roberto Firmino netting the 7th as his exit nears.
Liverpool hands Manchester United their worst ever defeat in years, taking things too literally.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield in what has been described as a humiliation for the visitors.
The game between the two historic rivals has been dubbed as the English Clasico and the scoreline certainly lived up to the hype. Liverpool dominated the game from start to finish, leaving Manchester United humiliated and in disbelief.

The game started off with Manchester United in top form, having just secured their first win of the season against Liverpool. They went on to win consecutive games and climb up the table, leaving their Merseyside rivals in 9th and 10th place for most of the season. But Liverpool had revenge on their minds, and they came out swinging.
Liverpool’s January signing, Cody Gakpo, scored the opening goal minutes before half-time, putting Liverpool ahead. Manchester United had been looking to crush Liverpool on their home turf, but they were denied as Liverpool returned from the break and scored six more goals past goalkeeper David De Gea.
Darwin Nunez and Gakpo scored their second goals of the game, while Mohamed Salah netted his traditional goal against Manchester United, making it 4-0. Nunez added another goal to revive last season’s trauma for Manchester United, as Liverpool ran home with a 5-0 scoreline at Old Trafford. But Liverpool wasn’t done yet.
Salah scored his second goal of the game with an assist from want-away man Roberto Firmino, who went on to score a goal of his own. Salah then returned the favor, assisting Firmino to make the scoreline 7-0.
The game was a complete shock to many, as Manchester United had been performing well in recent games. Liverpool’s domination of the game led to questions of whether the victory was a result of Liverpool’s brilliance or Manchester United’s poor performance. Some have even suggested that Liverpool took the rivalry too far, going for violence instead of just a win.
The Anfield crowd chanted “This is Anfield” throughout the game, reminding Manchester United that they were playing on Liverpool’s home turf.
